OREGON FAMILY TO FAMILY HEALTH INFORMATION CENTER
Oregon Family to Family Health Information Center (OR F2F HIC) operates a call-in center for family members of children and youth with special needs and chronic health conditions (developmental and emotional disabilities, behavioral problems, and chronic physical illnesses) and professionals who serve them. The center specializes in providing information and resources related to health information, health care access, and special needs systems and supports. All calls are confidential.

Families may also request to be placed on an email list to receive monthly correspondence about issues of importance to children and youth with special needs in Oregon.

DIABETES SUPPORT SERVICES INC
Provides information about diabetes weekly classes entitled Diabetes Made Simple: Learn and Earn, also through one-on-one consultations and support groups for individuals and families with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetic parents, and parents of diabetic children.

Support groups often include a medical professional as a keynote speaker, followed by spotlights on exercise, diet, and information on diabetic products and services. Childcare is available upon request. Fresh produce from Marion Polk Food Share is provided to attendees at the evening meeting. No insulin is available. Supplies such as meters, strips, and lancets may be available depending on supplies.

No assistance with purchasing insulin. Contact the office for more information regarding a case study utilizing sonic vibration and hydrogenated water for people with type two diabetes and those with peripheral neuropathy in the Salem area.
