The National Safe Haven Alliance (NSHA) is a national non-profit organization that promotes safe alternatives for parents in crisis pregnancy situations.
The crisis hotline provides support and direction for parents and providers regarding the Safe Haven law, including Safe Surrender locations, adoption resources and parenting support. Also, it provides direct resources to assist and prevent infant abandonment. The hotline is staffed by social workers, nurses, and paramedics that have received comprehensive training and are able to support, and assist parents and providers.
