The Family Resource Center has an items exchange program that attempts to connect people with furniture and appliances to donate with those in need. Small items like bedding, towels, and basic kitchen items can be brought to the Family Resource Center. Items must be clean, chip-free, and in usable condition. The Family Resource Center does not accept clothing larger than children’s sizes, decorative items, or knick-knacks.

NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS
Commodities distribution program that provides emergency food boxes containing a 3-day supply of food once per month per household. Food is available on a rotating basis and may not be the same at all USDA locations. Recipients usually receive a variety of vegetables, fruit, pasta, and protein. Households can get bread and produce every day the pantry is open (usually includes rice, beans, oats, and pasta). Offers information and referral to other community resources. Clothing, small appliances, and dishes are sometimes available, depending on donations received.

Accepts donations of clothing and small household and kitchen items. No pickup service is available. Cannot accept donations of furniture or large appliances, but will post them on bulletin board. Volunteer opportunities available.
