SUN YOUTH ADVOCACY PROGRAM (SYAP)
Fosters academic achievement by providing school-linked, age-appropriate, and culturally specific academic support (activities such as tutoring, mentoring, reading club, gender groups, and conflict resolution classes), case management, family engagement, and skill-building groups.

Provides services for youth and their families so that youth remain in or return to school. These services are delivered at community and school sites to youth attending regular and/or alternative schools who are at risk of academic failure.

Formerly known as the Social and Support Services for Educational Success program (SSSES). Services by Hacienda CDC are bilingual and bicultural and only serve elementary and middle schools. This program is part of the SUN Service System.
