EARLY HEARING DETECTION AND INTERVENTION (EHDI)
Comprehensive, coordinated system of support services for infants with hearing loss and their families. After screening, EHDI offers referrals to family support programs, early intervention, hearing aids and medical evaluation of ear, return audiology appointments and public health nurse as necessary.
