WATER AND WASTEWATER BILL CREDIT PROGRAMS
Provides a monthly credit on water and sewer accounts. Active accounts receive a monthly $25 credit, and active accounts billed with water services only receive a monthly $15 credit. If approved, credits are applied for 12 months.

Eligibility: Military credit: City of Newberg customers with a wage-earning household member who is on active military duty or who has been on active military duty in the last 12 months. Applications are only accepted from June 1-June 30 for bill credit.

Low-income credit: City of Newberg customers; eligibility is determined based on income and household size

Qualifying households must have a current account and cannot be more than 30 days delinquent at any time of approved assistance.

Limited income households must supply one or more of the following documents: Supplemental Social Security Income (SSI) verification, Oregon Medical Card, Supplemental Nutrition Assistnace Program (SNAP) card or award letter with date of reward, Medicaid card, Free/Reduced School Lunch/Breakfast Program letter from the Newberg School District indicating school year.
