WELLNESS ON WHEELS (WOW) VAN
The Center's van has been repurposed to expand outreach efforts to homebound seniors living independently, in senior neighborhoods, or in community care settings. The Wellness On Wheels Van provides one-on-one front porch and driveway services, including:
Providing emergency food delivery (outside of regular delivery schedule)

One-on-one tech support (virtual learning, on-line services, medical appointments, and family and friends)

Delivery of lifelong learning materials and support

Encouraging health and fitness (Fit & Fun Packs and private fitness coaching)

Providing welfare and friendly check-ins

Facilitating the Canine Corp dog visitor program

Delivery of birthday greetings and facility window parades

Delivery of “You Are Loved” Yard Signs

Delivery of “subscription boxes” filled with monthly activity packages (sponsored by friends and family)

Eligibility: Adults 50 and older, who have limited access to programs, activities, and services and want to remain connected to others.

COVID-19 INFORMATION: If patrons are experiencing any signs or symptoms of illness or have been exposed to illness they are asked to convert their in-person visit to a front porch delivery.
