PARENT CHILD THERAPEUTIC SERVICES
Offers therapeutic services to domestic violence survivors and their children. Services are intended to strengthen the parent-child relationship, provide support with behavioral issues, build stress management skills, support emotional regulation, and help survivors access additional community resources. Parent-Child Specialists also support caregivers in understanding how domestic violence and trauma impact children and the parent-child relationship. Services can be offered in the home, shelter, or Gateway Center for Domestic Violence and are generally offered weekly for at least a few months. Also provides a parenting support group for mothers who are survivors.

Eligibility: Families that have experienced domestic violence (physical, verbal, and/or emotional abuse), have at least one child between the ages of 0-12, and are not living with the abusive person
