WIC (WOMEN, INFANTS, AND CHILDREN SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION PROGRAM)
WIC is a public health program designed to improve health outcomes and influence lifetime nutrition and health behaviors for individuals who are pregnant or postpartum, infants, and children. Fathers, grandparents, and other guardians can also apply on behalf of a qualifying child, including children in foster care. SERVICES: Growth, health, and diet assessments, monthly benefits for supplemental nutritious foods, nutrition education, referrals to community resources, connections with WIC registered dietitians, breastfeeding support, and dental screenings.

Eligibility: To qualify, individuals must: Be pregnant, postpartum, or have a child under the age of 5, live in Oregon (US citizenship is NOT required), meet WIC income guidelines (185% of the Federal Poverty Level). Families receiving OHP, SNAP, or TANF are automatically income eligible.
