Head Start is also offered at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility through a partnership with the Oregon Department of Corrections. Teachers help incarcerated mothers bond with their children, learn parenting skills, and prepare for parenting after being released.

Eligibility:
Families with children ages 3-5. Families with incomes at or below
100% FPL are eligible. Children in foster care, homeless children,
and children from families receiving public assistance (Temporary
Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Supplemental Nutrition
Assistance Program (SNAP), or Supplemental Security Income (SSI))
are eligible regardless of income. Families with higher incomes and
specific needs may also be eligible, but families with higher needs
are prioritized.
