Offers family skills training, vocational training, and parenting education through agricultural and equine interactions. Online parenting classes are also provided. Mainly experienced in helping families with children with autism, children with behavior issues, and young adults that need help transitioning to adulthood.

Eligibility: Most in-person services are for family education that should involve at least one parent/guardian and their dependent. Parents should attend the basic Zoom class series "Rebuilding Your Self and Your Family" without their child. Individuals must have orientation before entering the barn. To participate in activities, individuals must wear long pants (best if jeans with a belt) and shoes with closed toes and no openings (no sandals, Crocs, or clogs), and dress in layers for outdoor environment.
Hours: Varies by service. In-person arrangements require contacting the agency via phone, email, or through the website prior to showing up.

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Call or email for more information. If you'd like to attend a Zoom you can use the link on the website to register and join. Newcomers should first attend the Thursday "Rebuilding Your Self And Your Family" series before joining an advanced topics class.

DOCUMENTS: Liability/photographic release is required when participating in in-person activities. This is not required prior to orientation.

TRAVEL/LOCATION INFORMATION: The main site is located about 12 miles north of Lebanon, 15 miles east of Albany, 11 miles south of Scio, 16 miles south of Stayton. Once you have an appointment, look for Hand In Hand Farm signs 2.1 miles from Ede/Fish Hatchery intersection if coming from the west, or 1.5 miles from Ede/Meridian intersection if coming from the east. Take the left fork of the long driveway and park near the cabin.
