RIVER DISTRICT NAVIGATION CENTER
The Navigation Center is a temporary, low-barrier shelter serving up to 90 adults. The site has a space for coffee and tea, books and board games, a gated courtyard, showers and laundry, space to leave belongings during the day, and provides onsite meals. Staff will provide housing-focused support, employment and benefits assistance, and health-focused services.

Eligibility: Individuals age 18 and older, with priority for individuals age 55 and older, adults with disabilities, and veterans.

Pets allowed; must be well-behaved, safe, and housebroken. The owner of the animal is responsible for caring for, feeding, and cleaning up after the animal.
Hours: Resource Center phone hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm; service intakes end 15 minutes before close

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Visit website and fill out a Shelter Access Pre-Screening Form. A member of the TPI Shelter Access Team will respond to all submissions within two business days to gather more information. Filling out a form does not guarantee a shelter bed. People can also walk in to or call the Resource Center to sign up for a shelter bed. The shelter operates on a reservation basis. Intake is done through the Resource Center (see service hours), not through the shelter's physical location. If guests arrive at the shelter location without a reservation, they will be turned away. Once a space is reserved, the guest may continue to use the space until they no longer need it.
