COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGY CENTER
Training clinic for the College of Education's doctorate program. The clinic is staffed by graduate, doctoral students in clinical psychology supervised by faculty and clinicians.

Provides diagnostic and other mental-health-related assessments and evidence-based psychotherapy. Providers blend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches with Motivational Interviewing to enhance client engagement. The initial intake session is 80-90 minutes, followed by weekly 50-minute sessions; there is no firm limit on the number of sessions a client can receive.



Note: The CPC does not provide disability-related assessments (including those to establish the necessity of an emotional support animal) or forensic assessments.
