Polk County Resource Center provides the following services: Emergency financial assistance for rent, utilities, birth certificates, ID cards, and prescriptions; hygiene items, diapers, transportation passes, shower passes and gas cards; comprehensive information and referral; child care resources and referrals and education to providers and parents. Also offers seasonal programs including school supplies and holiday assistance.

All financial assistance programs will require: ID, documented proof of an emergency, the bill that is needs to be paid or the rental agreement, and proof of income (job income, unemployment, SNAP, TANF, Social Security, etc.).
