Polk County Resource Center provides the following services: Emergency financial assistance for rent, utilities, birth certificates, ID cards, and prescriptions; hygiene items, diapers, transportation passes, shower passes and gas cards; comprehensive information and referral; child care resources and referrals and education to providers and parents. Also offers seasonal programs including school supplies and holiday assistance.

All financial assistance programs will require: ID, documented proof of an emergency, the bill that is needs to be paid or the rental agreement, and proof of income (job income, unemployment, SNAP, TANF, Social Security, etc.). Additional documentation for financial assistance programs may be required depending on the program.
