UMATILLA COUNTY DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES PROGRAM
Program offers a wide range of services that may include networking and outreach, facilitation of Individual Support Plan (ISP) meetings, assisting in the referral process to community service agencies for supports, providing support to individuals and families in a variety of planning meetings, assisting in finding residential placement and employment services, as well as referrals to support services brokerages.

The DD program staff may also review complaints of abuse and immediately take steps to assess further risk. In some cases, protective services may be offered to avoid further harm.

Eligibility: Must have the all of the following:
-A disability that originated in the brain
-The disability must be established prior the age of 22, or in the case of intellectual disability the condition must be determined before 18 years of age.
-Must result in significant impairments in at least two of the following areas of daily function:
Self-care, communication, cognition, mobility, self direction, capacity of independent living, and/or economic self sufficiency
-The impairments must not be primarily related to: substance abuse, mental illness, an emotional disorder, ADHD, a learning disability, or sensory impairment. Impairments must be expected to last indefinitely.
