CONFEDERATED TRIBES OF THE COOS, LOWER UMPQUA, AND SIUSLAW INDIANS
TRIBAL HOUSING PROGRAMS
Offers five housing assistance programs: rental assistance, tribal housing, down payment loan assistance, home repair, and emergency assistance.

The Rental Assistance program pays a portion of rent directly to landlords. There is a waiting list for this program and all families are offered this program on a first come, first served basis

Tribal Housing program offers housing to those who are employed by a tribal entity.

Emergency Assistance program helps families who are experiencing houselessness. The assistance may include, but is not limited to: placement in community-based crisis centers, transitional housing, motels, or the payment of one month’s rent or deposit for a new rental unit.

Home Repair program helps families repair their owner occupied home. This program can include, but is not limited to, repairing or replacing roofs, heating systems, electrical or plumbing upgrades. Each qualified homeowner can receive up to $10,000 to help make their home a decent, safe and healthy place to live.

Down Payment Assistance program grants up to $10,000 towards purchasing their first home. Participants do not have to repay the loan if they live in their home for at least seven years. If they move out of their home prior to the seven year minimum, they must repay a prorated amount of the loan.
