PARENT EDUCATION CLASSES
Provides listings for parent education programs. Many counties in Oregon require parents to complete a parent education class before a judgment can be entered in cases involving child custody and parenting time. Parent education classes are designed to educate parents about the issues children face when their family structure changes. The classes focus on how to help children adjust to a divorce or separation and/or living apart from a parent. The classes also provide information to parents about developing skills for successful co-parenting as separated parents.
