RELIEF NURSERY
Mountain Star Relief Nurseries provide high-risk families with intensive support through individualized case management, parenting education, home visits, and group activities. Children participate in therapeutic classrooms with low adult-child ratios and families receive home visits that promote healthy parenting and child development. Parents/children must be enrolled to receive most services.

Eligibility: High-risk families with children ages 6 weeks-4 years. Call for more information about eligibility.
"High-risk" typically means households experiencing several of the following factors: poverty, high stress, depression, history of mental illness, lack of reliable transportation, single-parent households, criminal history, adult survivors of child abuse, history of drug/alcohol use, unemployment, low self-esteem, limited education, anger issues, homelessness, or social isolation.

COVID-19 INFORMATION: Masks must be worn in classrooms because young children cannot be vaccinated yet. Home visits can be completed in-person, virtually, or by phone depending on staff and family/parent comfort level.
