INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS TRAINING
Provides training and support to assist individuals in living independently. May include training in budgeting, cleaning, meal preparation and shopping, identifying the need for and planning appointments, taking a bus, and learning to supervise home care workers.

Eligibility: Individuals with significant physical, sensory, cognitive, or mental disabilities and their families. Disabilities include:

-Physical or orthopedic disabilities
-Psychiatric disabilities
-Learning or developmental disabilities
-Hyperactivity or concentration difficulties (ADD or ADHD)
-Brain injuries caused by accident or stroke
-Blindness or nearsightedness
-Deafness or being hard of hearing
-Multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS) or environmental illness (EI)
-HIV/AIDS
