FAMILY VIOLENCE INTERVENTION PROGRAM
Provides crisis intervention, support groups, advocacy, community education/trainings, outreach, safety planning, and individual and group counseling to adults and teens that have experienced family or intimate partner violence at any time in their lives. Provides information and referral to outside agencies as well as to the Children's Counseling Program, Protective Order Advocacy Program, and Monika's House Shelter. Intakes are typically approximately 2 hours long and include a one-on-one explanation of services and assessment if programs are appropriate for the client and/or children. Children are not allowed at this appointment.

This agency accepts donations of mobile phones.

Counseling is provided by individuals who are completing their Master's degrees or licensed in this field. Counseling interns work at the agency for an average of 8 months and are supervised by licensed professionals. Other services are provided by staff, advocates, and trained volunteers.
