CLACKAMAS VOLUNTEERS IN MEDICINE
Provides primary medical services for individuals without access to health care. Volunteer medical professionals offer routine preventative and non-emergency medical care. For chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and heart disease, care is provided in addition to education and equipment for self-care. Eye exams and glasses are also available (beginning January 2024). More specialized services that cannot be provided on-site are referred to a network of specialty physicians in the region.

Eligibility: -Age 18 and older with income
-400% of the federal poverty guidelines for the previous 3 months
-No health insurance or access to health care.
-Gap insurance/medical care needed temporarily, underinsured (cannot afford care for chronic conditions under current health care plan)
Hours: Tuesday-Thursday 1pm-4pm (some Thursday evening appointments available, call for more information).

-If homeless or undocumented, some alternative documents may be accepted

Eligibility screeners will meet with prospective clients and assist them in providing the requested documentation.
