SECTION 8 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM
Linn-Benton Housing Authority (LBHA) administers two types of Section 8 housing assistance programs: Housing Choice Vouchers and Moderate Rehabilitation.

Housing Choice Vouchers: Eligible families find their own rental units in the existing housing market.

Moderate Rehabilitation: LBHA provides a rent subsidy guarantee to units that have been approved and rehabilitated in accordance with Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations.

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Walk in or call to apply for Section 8 programs. Applications can also be located on the website.
FEES: Housing Choice Vouchers: Families pay a portion of the rent and utilities, generally equal to 40% of their adjusted monthly income. LBHA pays the landlord the balance of the rents on behalf of the families.

Moderate Rehabilitation: Tenants residing in these units pay 30% of their monthly income for rent and utilities.
