GENETIC TESTING AWARENESS
Offers conversation and information to families who have received a prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome, who may be grappling with decisions about the pregnancy. Works closely with local genetic counselors to provide families with current information to make an informed decision.

Also offers medical outreach, advocacy and presentations to educate medical providers about the realities of raising a child with Down Syndrome. Provides presentations to health care and social work classes at universities and maintains partnerships with genetic counselors at Kaiser, Providence and Legacy health systems.
