ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Provides electric, gas, heating fuel, and water payment assistance to qualifying households. The goal of the program is to support historically underserved populations to reduce service disconnections and provide home heating assistance. Bilingual/bi-cultural staff specialize in serving Hispanic/Latino community members.

Eligibility: 60% of State Median Income for household size (including gross income for all members of household ages 18 and older).
Certain kinds of energy assistance may have additional requirements, including age restrictions and the need for a Social Security number.

DOCUMENTS: -Photo ID for all persons in the home age 18 or older
-Social Security cards for anyone in the home who has one
-Current utility bill
-Identification card
-Income verification, such as a 30 day pay stub, Social Security benefits, TANF, pension, child support, unemployment etc.
