Eligibility: Courses: Varies by provider, but focus is on ages 15-18. Drivers who complete an ODOT-approved driver education course before they turn 18 may be eligible for a skills test waiver if they also have had an instruction permit for at least 6 months, have at least 50 hours of driving experience, and have passed the written safe driving practices test at the DMV.

ODOT course subsidy: Household must meet the free and reduced qualifications set by their school district.
